Sacramento County's Real Estate Market:

Sacramento County is a county in the U.S. state of California. The county seat is the city of Sacramento, the state capital. As of 2000 the population was 1,223,499.

Sacramento County covers about 994 square miles in the middle of the Central Valley, California's prime agricultural region. Sacramento County extends from the low delta lands between the Sacramento and San Joaquin Rivers north to about ten miles beyond the State Capitol and east to the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. The southernmost portion of Sacramento County has direct access to the San Francisco Bay.

City of Elk Grove - In 1850, Elk Grove was established as a hotel and stage stop. It is located about 15 miles south of historic Sutter’s Fort and thus became a crossroads for business, entertainment, mail service and agriculture, and acted as home base for gold miners in nearby communities. After it played its part in the early gold rush and statehood history in California, a close-knit community evolved with a distinctly rural and western lifestyle.

City of Roseville - Roseville is a progressive city with its eye on the future, but all the while retains and celebrates its rich historical railroad roots. Located in Placer County along the eastern edge of the Sacramento Valley at the base of the Sierra Nevada foothills, Roseville is a mere 16 miles from Sacramento, the state capital.

City of Sacramento - Sacramento is the capital of the State of California and the seventh most populous city in the state. Sacramento is the core cultural and economic center of its four-county metropolitan area. Founded in 1849, it is the oldest incorporated city in California. Even 150 years after the famous California "Gold Rush," people are still discovering gold in Sacramento. In the decades since fortune hunters flocked to the region in search of the glimmering metal, Sacramento, California, has emerged into a cosmopolitan state capital that still retains its unique Gold Rush history.
